High Dusting

Importance of High Dusting

High dusting involves the cleaning process of hard-to-reach areas in a building, typically above head height. This involves dusting and removing dirt, cobwebs, and debris from places that are often overlooked during regular cleaning, such as ceilings, light fixtures, vents, rafters, beams, and tall shelving.

Why High Dusting Is Important

  • Improves Air Quality: Dust and allergens that accumulate in high places can fall to lower areas, affecting the air quality of a room. Regular high dusting can help keep the environment cleaner and healthier.

  • Prevents Allergies: Dust buildup can trigger allergic reactions or respiratory issues. High dusting can help minimize this risk by removing dust, pollen, and other irritants

  •  Maintains Cleanliness: Over time, dust can accumulate in hard-to-reach places and negatively impact the overall cleanliness of a room. High dusting ensures every corner of your space is maintained.
  •  Protects Surfaces and Fixtures: Dust can wear down the surfaces of light fixtures, beams, and vents over time. Keeping these areas clean can extend their lifespan and maintain their appearance

Common Areas to High Dust

  • Ceiling fans
  • Light fixtures and chandeliers
  • HVAC vents and ducts
  • Ceiling corners and beams
  • High shelving units
  • Top of refrigerators or cabinets
  • Window blinds or curtains
  • Walls near the ceiling

How we perform this service

  • Tools: Use a telescoping duster, microfiber cloth, or a vacuum with a long attachment to reach high places.
  • Safety: Make sure to use a sturdy ladder or step stool to avoid any falls. If using a ladder, always ensure it's on a stable surface and that you’re not stretching too far to avoid accidents.
  • Frequency: High dusting should be done regularly, typically every few months, depending on the environment. Spaces with high traffic or more dust may require more frequent cleaning.
